Apple Orchard + Urban Tree Cidery

The other week I got to sneak away from the boys for a while to go explore an apple orchard in the North Georgia mountains with Allie from Peachfully Chic and Mireille from City Peach.  This was something I'd been wanting to do with the boys for a while, but was never sure if it was the kind of activity that would keep their attention long enough to make the hour long drive worth it. After this experience, I'm positive the boys would absolutely love it! I can't wait to take them next season.

Allie was sweet enough to plan out our entire day. We were hosted by Urban Tree Cidery, a brewery located in Midtown Atlanta, who let us explore one of their two working orchards located in Clayton, GA. I really had no idea what to expect! Since Urban Tree's orchard isn't usually open to the public, it wasn't the typical u-pick experience. Allie drove us around in her jeep until we found a spot we loved to pick a few apples and share cider. Mireille kept us laughing the entire time! I'm so thankful for these girls. 💗

Special thanks to LL Bean for dressing us for the day.  Allie got to wear the Slightly Fitted Scotch Plaid Shirt in Stewart Victoria and Signature Cotton Fisherman Sweater.  Mireille rocked the Signature Drapey Button Front Shirt with a Sweater Fleece Pullover.   I felt so cute + comfortable in the Washable Merino-Wool Sweater Pullover and the Fitted Scotch Plaid Shirt in Blackwatch.

I brought apples home to the boys and cider for Lewis. We made an apple pie the next day and now the boys are big fans of apple picking. Also Lewis wants to head to Midtown for more cider ;)
